Russells cheap products

I bought a bed from Russells just over a year ago and have problems with the mattress where the springs are popping out. The bed is being used by a child. When I called the store to complain I was told that all products sold by Russells carry a 1 year guarantee. How is it possible that a bed that you spent thousands on have a one year guarantee. No where on the sales invoice does it state that all products carry a years guarantee. This this imply that Russells sells inferior products. Now the store wants to get me a quote from the supplier to have the bed repaired. How can a huge store like Russells sells inferior products. Other stores that sells the same bed that I bought carries a 5 year guarantee. Is Russells selling second hand goods to only give a year guarantee. This is totally misleading customers as when one buys an item no one informs them that their products carry only a years guarantee. I was ripped out of thousands buying the bed thinking Russells was a large reputable store but I was highly mistaken.
