RETURN OR EXCHANGE OF BED AT RUSSELS IN VREDE

I bought a bed at the Russells store in Vrede,Free State. The bed was delivered on the 21 February 2019. On removal of the covering we discovered that the mattress is slightly smaller than the base. We called the store on the ********** number to make them aware of the problem and we requested that they come collect the bed and exchange or give us a refund. To this day the bed has not been collected and we are being moved from pillar to post. We even went as far as requesting that they take the bed and we make a lay buy for a different bed even that has not been done. The manager Thabang said he would call me back last week and I’m still waiting. We are not getting any joy from the staff at that store. It is so frustrating because their return policy states that if you are not satisfied with the product you must make them aware within 7-14 days of the purchase,which is exactly what was done. My fear is that they are going to refuse to take back that bed as 14 days as passed. Please assist me in how this matter can be dealt with.
