*********, poor service and inefficient

My experience with Russells has been super horrible. I lost my job back in 2022 and I could not afford to pay my account which I did communicate to Russells. My account ended up being handed over to debt collectors which I had no problem with as I was unable to make payment towards my debt for months. As soon as I got a new job I informed them and scheduled a debit arrangement with ADRS which is the company that I was handed over to. Unfortunately, the current company that I work for pays us on different days it is not set for one, it all depends on when we reach our target therefore the debit for the 25th was fine for a few months until it was not working as I was getting paid late and I tried to make a payment arrangement with ADRS (a woman by the name of Adriana De Caires). They ended up not debiting as requested and when I asked why I was told that my debt was too high which did not make sense as all these previous months they were able to debit even though the the debt was higher. Nonetheless, I ended up asking for a statement from Adriana, reflecting the total overall amount that I owe and instead, she called me shouting at the top of her lungs instructing me to just go to the store and make payment. I ended up shouting back at her because firstly they did not debit on the requested date, secondly, I was not told at the point of me making a payment arrangement that ADRS would not be able to debit because of the so-called high debt and thirdly she was refusing to send me the statement of my account, she instead told me that I should just go to the branch and pay when I asked her for how long she failed to answer me. I then insisted that she should send me the statement as I cannot keep paying and not knowing how much I owe because it means even when I have paid off the debt I will not know. To this day she has not sent me the statement and they still try to debit me on the 25th despite my request that they should debit on the last day of the month. I went to the Russells store after trying to find out if they could help over the phone and they failed dismally and informed them of my issue but they were also unable to assist me and advised that I should just pay at the store, of which I did yesterday. Luckily Russells was able to let me know how much I am owing. However, the fact that ADRS still tries to debit me even after advising that they could not, raises the interest of my debt, and also my bank charges me for transactions that bounce which is quite unfair to me as someone who communicated the exact debit date that should be active on the account that I have with Russells and they choose to ignore it. All in all, I would not recomend Russells to anyone. The fact that they fail to assist their customers with the debt collectors that they appointed is ridiculous, they have no control over them. ADRS is utterly useless because even when Russells called them on my behalf while I was at the store, they gave them the same answers that I got when I was making calls to them, they cannot send me my statement as my account is with Adriana De Caires, they cannot amend the debit order date on their side because Adriana De Caires is the one handling my account despite the fact that they were being told that she is not compliant with the customers requests. ADRS should be shut down as they are a bunch of ****mers that hide under the name ''debt collectors''.
