Payment of account

Hi, Yesterday my wife draw money at the ATM and went to Joshua Door to pay my sons account. As she gave the money to the cashier the cashier told her that they are not allowed to accept the R 200 notes with the leopard on it any more, but only the new R 200 note. There is even a notice against the cashiers window about that. My wife went to ABSA and asked the cashiers if they know anything about the old R 200 note that may not be used any more and they told her that there is no such thing and only the Reserve Bank can publish that the old R 200 note cannot be used any more. ABSA said the she must report it immediately. So far there was nothing published or in the news. <br> <br> Thank you
