Pathetic service

The below review is on behalf of an elderly lady that I personally know :

Below is one of the many emails we have sent to this group.I am a 66 year old pensioner , needless to say not of the best health.I am harassed day and night by this company and all their Debt Collecting companies threatening to take my goods away.Some of the goods are broken and not up to standard but all my attempts for many months now even when my account and payments where up to date to have these broken and faulty goods returned / exchanged / repaired has been futile.Because I am old this company is pushing me around because I am old trying to ****** money from me.They have made me go around asking people and loan sharks to lend me money to pay them.I will have to pay back the loaned money with interest from my pension I will have no money to live on month to month until I die...I think they might rest then.

I have sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls regarding my account held with Russels.

I have now been contacted by Blake and Associates and have been offered a settlement amount of R6009 to pay by the 30/06/2018.

I am a widow and a pensioner and do not have any other financial assistance from anyone except my Government pension.

I live on the Government pension month to month which I depend on for my rent , lights , water , food ,medical costs and monthly expenses .

Needless to say it is very little I have nothing spare. My contract at work was terminated of which I have sent through the letter from the Company as proof .

Not one person can offer me a solution or assistance.

I am constantly bombarded and threatened by your Call Centre Agents and pressurized leading me to be stressed and getting more ill.

I am trying to beg and borrow that money just to have this over....but the most I have managed to borrow from a loan shark against my pension is R 5000.

I still have to pay that back with interest .

The Government does not permit that we be given loans against our pension but the way I am being harassed by you is leading me to no other way.

I still am struggling to understand if your company and group you represent will only be satisfied once I take my last breath so that url can come and take my things away.

I know the Manager at the time when I took out the account said that I have Insurance what happened to that ? In case I am out of work that is supposed to assist .

I am in no position financially to rake up this money .I will have to seek further assistance from East Coast Radio , Wendy Knowler ,the CPA and Hellopeter because talking to you guys is proving futile and just making me more ill.

For the last time what can be done regarding this account ?

What is the best offer ?

If I pay that amount and the account is paid up and closed are my goods still falling under the warranties ? (Most of the items are broken and not up to standard but I must pay pay but it cannot be returned , repaired or exchanged and that is against the Consumer Act )

I look forward to hearing from someone senior who has the authority to assist me in a well mannered way .Kindly ensure that all responses and communication with me moving forward are done in writing via this email address of mine .
