i have an account with russels so I paid by debit order from the 1st day of payment then we started experiencing problems at work with late salaries which mean my debit orders would decline . I then made an eft payment 3 days before my payment was due . they however still debited which I understand as the debits are sent 10 days in advance . what I don't understand is when I called to have my debit order cancelled they said they cannot cancel it and there is no way for me to pay except my debit order . I reversed the debit since I already paid then a consultant called me going on and on about nonsense while I am trying to explain that my salary comes late and on a different day every month I requested it be cancelled as I would prefer paying via eft . they are simply refusing to assist me . is it not my choice as to which method of payment I prefer. they are rude and don't listen to clients Russels
