Incessant Calls for Unknown Person

Call center keeps calling my number (up to 6 times a day, even on weekends) looking for somebody I don't know. I have told them repeatedly they have the wrong number but the pestering continues.

Are the agents not trained on how to remove my number? Perhaps they should consider verifying numbers of their customers before giving them credit?
