Horrible service and empty promises - Russels Amanzimtoti

Hi,

I recently purchased the Belmont 3 Piece Bedroom Suite from Russels in Amanzimtoti, it was delivered on Saturday 6 Oct 2018 (after I was promised it will be delivered on Friday).

When offloading they dropped the linen chest on the ground and it got completely damaged.

The driver said he cant take the damaged item back to the store because the store is already closed... so he left it with me.

He then drove off, again I was promised by the salesman that assembly will be done by the offloaders.

We continued to assemble the unit and then found that the 2 bedside tables are both left, instead of a left and right table....

I contacted the manager at Russels Amanzimtoti today (Monday morning) and was told that they might be able to assist on Friday, since they dont have stock, after I objected, the manager said she will make a plan and will contact me later today, it is afternoon and still no feedback.

I am tired of empty promises made by this store and I would like assistance to have this matter resolved, otherwise I request a refund.

Poor poor service from start to finish.

Please help.
