False advertising

Last week Friday I was watching t.v and Russell had an advert. Whereby they offered credit with credit checks and I assumed because of covid. However I went into store wasted my time and the sales ladies time. I was offered 40000 credit from the beginning. Then their new system was not working some bio matrix and I had to travel to Margate taking time off from work to complete the deal. I did that on Monday and still everything was in order. They received all they requested and hey told me the last thing was to accept the debit order which I did. Only to find out that they did a check and I have a bad credit profile but can afford to pay for furnite. It was covid in 2020 and everyone has a bad profile. You set targets for your staff and false advertise. How can you lie on t.v about no checks. You even called my employer to confirm my employment. You should be charged for misleading customers. I do not care if you do not want my money and if you feel I'm not goid enough for being your customer. But if you can lie on t.v then I do not think you are a good company to start a relationship with. Please watch your misleading adverts and sort your stuff out as I'm reporting you to the ombudsmen cause I wasted my money and time on your useless company. Listen customers all fell behind after this devil covid so please grow a brain as you can not expect your staff to make target and you to still remain open with your lies to top it off.
