DVD not delivered since December 2014

I bought a 7.2 channel Sony DVD component R8 299, 14th December 2014. After I realized that the DVD player was not for the system and I took it back they promised to sort it out since then. January I went back to them and try to find out how far with the sorting out. They will promise to sort it and its been 6 months now. I even tried to contact the regional manager. She could't help also I don't know what to do now because they even told me that, its not possible to get my money back. I feel like they a playing a fool of me every time i went to ask whats going on with my DVD player. I have exhausted all the things I need to do to get my DVD. They treated me very bad. I eve ask them to give even if its a different brand because i see i will never get my DVD and that still didn't't help me at all. Please guys help
