Damaged goods delivered

My journey with Russell's should have never started. It's one I regret. I bought a couch in March at the Pretoria CBD branch on Thabo Sehume street. The process was daunting on it's own, I dealt with unprofessional people firstly, but I looked the other way, because I really wanted a couch.

The couch was delivered on th 13th of March 2020, damaged. I've had a damaged couch for 3 months. I complained, the store denied delivering a damaged couch and blamed it on the delivery company. The delivery guys, however, did not know anything about the damage either.

So I was basically made to seem like a fool and was told my problem would be resolved. I called multiple times and so did my fiance, and all we got was, the delivery guys have not gotten back to them. The lockdown approached and passed and I have not had my issue resolved.

I was then called by head office to remind me that my repayment will commence soon, I then informed head office of the complaint and they assured me that they would send it to the complaints department, some time last month and still nothing.

I work with people daily, I'm a Sales Services Team Manager and what has happened to me is ********* from Russell's point of view. I was sent damaged goods and I am meant to pay for them fully, I was not offered a substitute or anything to ensure that I am satisfied with my purchase. This level of customer service is disappointing for such a reputable brand or maybe you guys do not care about clients anymore.

I am thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed. I expect to receive feedback, because I have now had to come to Hello Peter, in order to get some attention for something I'm paying for. I'm tired of being patience and I am now demanding answers, before I take this matter further.
