Jonsson Workwear really sucks

Wish that I had come here to check that this company has no recourse nor reply to their intended market as they believe that their brand is so strong built on an era when there was once quality locally manufactured product. I bought a pair of hiking styled shoes 8 months ago that looked very appealing and strongly constructed. They were rugged very comfortable and colorful so much so that I was considering a 2nd pair in a different color. However a month ago the brightly colored blue polymer started cracking and the black polymer coated composite delaminated revealing very cheap low cost synthetic material. I have only used them for walking in the suburbs on level well manicured pavements plush lawns and paths These shoes are in the region of R900/pair and I have had R299 Chinese knock offs last much much longer. I sent a complaint directly to the company through their online portal over a week ago and heard nothing. So here to warn all and sundry, buyer beware as the brand is no longer trust worthy nor is their commitment to quality, as it is market overpriced yet cheap imported aesthetic junk.
