Serious Concerns After Major Mechanical Repair

I used Advanced Williams Auto / Riaan’s Auto Repair for major work on a Nissan NP200, including injector replacement, camshaft/timing-related work, cam/crank seal work, oil leak assessment and steering/driveline repairs. The vehicle was barely driven after the work was completed. Shortly afterwards we experienced further serious issues, including ge*****lection problems, oil leaks and engine noise. The vehicle had to be taken to another workshop for further assessment. Independent injector testing has now shown that three injectors were marginal pass and one injector failed. A further estimate also records an oil leak, cam seal issue, oil-contaminated cambelt kit and a stretched cam pulley bolt. These issues are in areas that were part of the work we paid for. We have attempted to resolve the matter directly and through correspondence. To date, we have not received a satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this workshop for major mechanical repairs unless everything is put in writing upfront, parts origin and warranty are confirmed, and all removed parts and supplier invoices are retained.
