Revolting smell from Johnson’s baby wipes

After I have send Johnson’s an email on the 12th of October regarding the horrible smell from the wipes I only received a email back on the 13th by having the cheek to tell me that I must continue using the same product on my baby— I mean what is WRONG with these people, I cannot use something that smells like old sh_t water on my baby’s bum- what is WRONG with this people????

Thank you for getting in touch. Firstly, sorry to hear that your Johnsons® Gentle All Over wipes were not the quality that you expect. The health and safety of the people who use our products is our top priority.

We have received some reports from consumers of an uncharacteristic odour and are conducting a full review. There are no safety concerns with JOHNSON’S Baby Gentle All Over Wipes and you can continue to use the product.

This doesn’t affect other JOHNSON’s baby wipes and will remain available for sale in stores.

We will be sending you a mobile coupon as a gesture of goodwill.

So I have heard that there was a recall from the same product over SA with the specific batch Nr

Why doing a recall at shops but telling me to continue using the same product on my baby? They were saying in the mail that I will get mobile vouchers..... e-mail was send to me on 13th, today is the 16th of October 2020......still waiting
