John Williams Motors Bloemfontein please take full responsibility on your incompetency

I purchased a new 2013 M/benz E250 back in 2013 and some time around mid 2017 the vehicle stated having coolant level message pop up on the dash. I took the car back to the dealership as it was still under warranty a number of times and they changed from radiator cap a number of time (x3), to the radiator itself and was even told that the problem could have been the water pump, which they checked and was found to be in good condition, but the problem didn't go away, I still had to top up coolant level every now and then. Late January 2018 my Vehicle came of the warranty and In February 2018 the vehicle stated giving me problems with transmission and I took it in to John Williams Motors Ladybrand workshop to have it looked at. on the 16th on February I received an email from lady called Edwinene who gave me a quotation for R17 528.50 as costs to repair the transmission which was damaged by the water from the cooling system. I immediately told the Edwinene to check her records and see how many times before i had brought the car in for coolant issues and the whole time they had been misdiagnosing the vehicle. I therefore told her that I felt like they needed to take responsibility for the mishap. The Ladybrand workshop then fixed the leakage and told me that the transmission problem was still there and that they had to take the vehicle to Bloemfontein for further diagnose, they "drove" my vehicle to Bloemfontein on the 23rd of February.

I was then given a quotation from the Bloemfontein workshop of R116 984.40 by Gerhard Kirstein the workshop manager in Ladybrand which was for the repairs on the transmission damaged by the coolant leakage and included the R17 528.50 of the works done in Ladybrand.

I decided to escalate the matter and spoke to the dealer principle, Klass who has made no effort to try and resolve this matter even after the numerous phone calls, texts and visits I personally made to his office and personal mobile number.

I then received a call and emil from one Ronald Ramsoomar, parts manager at the Bloemfontein workshop on the 18th of April explaining to me that they had decided to send the damaged parts on my vehicle transmission for reconditioning in Johannesburg, and that the gearbox itself was stripped and cleaned due to the anti-freeze contamination. Ronald then sent me another quotation of R32 319.50 which replaced all the other quotations sent before and that they were willing to split the quote 50-50 with me, that is I pay half the quote and they would settle the other half. My points of concern are this - My initial quotation was R 116 984.40 which I would have had to pay if I didn't keep record or even remember the history of my vehicle - John Williams decided to go the cheaper route of sending my transmission for reconditioning instead of replacing it after realising their mistake but failing to acknowledge it. - Why was this alternative they went with never an option when they quoted me initially. - They kept my vehicle at their workshop for two months for a job that took them less that a week to do when they finally decided to do it and I still had to pay the monthly instalments and insurance on the vehicle I wasn't using.
