Total disrespect to client

I just got my vehicle back from john t wheel alignment polokwane. I called the day before and they quoted me R 350.00 for wheel alignment. They said that rotating the tyres will be no charge. The next morning i left my vehicle at their premises asking for wheel alignment and the rotation of tyres be done. They again confirmed that the price would be R350. 00 and there would be zero charge for tyre rotation. On collection the guy at the till casually says that he will be charging me for tyre rotation @R 50.00 over and above the price quoted. I point blank refused to pay the extra R50.00. He then says that this is the normal pricing for rotation of tyres. I told him that his colleague said it would be no charge. He then said that would not charge the R50 extra but instead add vat of 15% onto the R350.00. I again refused to pay the additional VAT which they so nonchalantly demanded be added to my invoice. He stated that the price quoted was excluding VAT. He pro eeded to make the invoice for R350. 00 plus VAT. He further threatened that if i do not pay as he requested, he will not release my vehicle and that he would charge me for storage. I demanded to speak to the guy that i left my car with. He said that he is not in and he would arrive later. I told him i would wait for him. When he did arrive i told him what had transpired between me and his colleague. He asked me how will i be paying? and i said that i would be paying using my debit card. He then made a complete u-turn from his colleague, he dropped the VAT, and said that the price quoted was cash only and if i wanted to pay by card, he would add a percentage to the R350. 00. To avoid further arguments i got the cash, paid and left. The fact that they could treat me, their client with such disdain leaves much to be desired. They threw around figures with impunity, and gave scant regard to moral business ethic. I will definitely not be going back there. Oh! and SARS needs to check on the them for wanting to charge clients VAT on VAT. I need the banking ombudsman to check on this ******* process of adding extra for card transactions.
