Poor Service

Good afternoon ,

I would like to express the poor service I received from the Kingsmead Shoes ( Springfield Durban) who is a stock holder of John Drake shoes. I purchased a pair of black formal shoes late last year & being a well known reputable shoe brand didn't bother keeping the receipt. However to my dismay the heel came off & when I went back to the store it was purchased from it couldn't be returned nor a refund be issued . I do understand that a receipt should be accompanied by the defective product however with that being said surely something could of being done since the shoe was purchased from a particular store . A mere barcode on the box should indicate which store the shoe was purchased from & the movement of stock items being listed on their stock holding should of played a part as well.

Please assist as I am now sitting with an expensive shoe that cannot be used .
