Excellent customer service

I recently bought a pair of John Drake formal footwear from a reputable retailer. After about 2 months of wearing the shoes I noticed that the right sole had torn from the shoe itself. I sent an email to John Drake explaining the issue. After a couple of hours I got a reply from Richard who was very understanding and professional. He offered an apology on behalf of the company and offered to send me a new pair of shoes. The level of service I received from John Drake is few and far between. Truly an example of customer care! I've worn John Drake shoes my entire career and so have my father and grandfather. We've never experienced such an issue. That says a lot about the all round quality of the brand.
