THE PERFECT CATCH
My wife and daughter ate at the Alberton branch on Saturday around noon.Unfortunately they left an expensive cell phone behind. Oblivious to the fact they continued shopping and only when they arrived at the car, did they realise they had left the phone behind at JOHN DORY'S.Needless to say I went back to the store when they arrived home and made me aware of it. I met a gentleman there by the name of Gerald who promised to call me in two days. I only heard from him now and that was only because I called the store to find out if he had managed to sniff the phone out as per his promise! Conveniently the cameras in your Alberton branch could not pick up the table where my family sat, something about the angle of the camera. What is the point of having cameras when you cannot see anything.I have never eaten at any of your Franchise's and after this I probably won't however when I went to John Dory's on Saturday I made an interesting observation and that is your tables are pre-set with a plate holding cutlery. So clearly the person cleaning the table which I presume is the waiter or the person pre-setting the cutlery should have seen seen it.AVOID THE PERFECT CATCH!!!!
Thank you for sharing your frustration with us. We will definitely share your feedback with the owner/operator so that they can internally address this matter however, please remember that legally you are innocent until proven guilty. The staff are not the only people waking around in the restaurant and hence the reason why pointing fingers is difficult.
Once internally addressed, you will be provided with feedback.
