Poor service

Went to John Dorys Wilson's wharf this afternoon around 3pm.. relatively quiet with a few customers.. waiter was friendly.. ordered a vegan sushi platter of 12 pieces to share as a starter.. drinks came promptly but that was it.. we waited and waited.. no one came to attend to us. Employees were chatting to one another .. not interested in customers.. think we were the only ones to order sushi.. so I couldn't understand why we had to wait so long. When we finally had enough, and wanted to leave we had 2 managers come up to us offering to top up drinks and even offering the meal at no charge. We didn't come for a free meal. We came to enjoy an evening of food and a few drinks. As we were paying for drinks, there seemed to be some urgency from everybody. and the food arrived. We left and unfortunately will not be visiting that establishment again. The group may be need to rethink salaries, training and how they employ. Employees sadly need to be constantly monitored which clearly was not done. I am glad that it is not my money tied up in that franchise.
