PATHETIC JOHN DORYS

So where do I start ?

Just finished eating at John Dorys ,food was pathetic for a lack of a better word.We were expecting something scrumptious since we waited over an hour ,drinks took almost 45 minutes and mind you we were to adults and 3 kids so it wasn't anything major. Just before the hour passed our delayed waitress came and said food will be 5 minutes well her 5 minutes went on for over 15 minutes by this time my diabetic son was close to passing out due to his sugar dropping dangerously low.Well I tell the waiter and my husband goes to the manager and all we hear is that they understand that he needs to take medication so they will check , I'm over here getting hysterical because my son can pass out and he doesn't need medication he needs food or juice,****ing any carb I can receive.Anyway food arrives we ordered a family platter and a ribs and chicken combo.We had 4 mussels however were told that it's a double portion ,hake was over fried to a point whereby we couldn't use a fork.Chips were awful and just a handful.So from service to portion to even giving us a clean table everything was wrong.If my son were to pass out or go.into a coma who was responsible? I fail to.understand why people that came far after was served ,was our R950 bill not good enough ??? Most horrific experience at John Dorys ever ,no apology, no empathy all we were told is that things didn't work out.
