MISLEADING AND DISHONEST ADVERTI*****T AND PRACTICE

We are regular customers, eating average once a month at John Dorys. I also have a membership card which I normally request to be swiped in order to accumulate points to add vouchers. John Dorys promised their clients a R100 voucher in their birthday month, but BLATANTLY LIES about the promised vouchers. Yesterday was my birthday and me and my husband wanted to eat their for my birthday.. When required about the promised voucher, they claimed that I do not qualify for the voucher as I did not swipe my card 4x from January until now... I did swiped my card twice in February and when I ask them about all the times my card was swiped during the year of 2018, they said that it does not count.... So all the months from APRIL 2018 until DECEMBER 2018 does not count to add up to qualify for my birthday voucher.. Why do we eat at John Dorys then during the year, every month, swiping my card, but nothing of that counts to qualify for the voucher... What about people whose birthday is 20 January. or February... should they also swipe their cards 4x only from 1 January to qualify or what??? Needless to say that John Dorys WOULD NEVER SEE US AGAIN... I rather pay double the bill at a trustworthy restaurant who does not mislead their clients just to get them to eat there... This is BLATANTLY MISLEADING PRACTICE AND DISHONEST... When I ask the manager to get someone at headoffice to call me, she only said she knows... on the system I only swiped my card twice from January until now and all the other months after Apil last year, does not count. ALL customers.... BE AWARE TO EAT THERE WITH THE HOPE TO RECEIVE YOUR PROMICES BIRTHDAY VOUCHER.... IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!!
