John Dory’s Weskus may be the Worst Branch in SA

The Weskus branch in Vredenburg Weskus Mall, may be the worst John Dory’s Branch in South Africa.

We waited for 10 minutes at the door just for someone to help us while 8 staff members just stared at us while we’re standing at the door, patiently to be seated.

Eventually we got seated. After 15 minutes, a whole lot of staff members and managers just passing by and not helping.

We waited 45 minutes for our sushi and the restaurant weren’t even busy.

Some of the staff members sat their handbags on the tables just after 8, ready to leave.

When we received our sushi, the order were wrong. I asked the chef about the order and he said to me that that’s my order and I will eat what he gave me. As well as the quality of how the sushi looked and tasted weren’t how it was supposed to be.

When we received our bill, the whole bill was wrong with no half price sushi.

Our waiter had to beg the one manager to come and speak to us and he said no and left the restaurant. So another manager helped us with our bill.

The second bill came and the was still 3 item not on half price. We decided to just pay the bill even though it was R70 to much. After we payed we walked to our car and heard how Herm**** & Grant (2 managers) and the rude sushi chef discussing us. So I said to them it is very unprofessional to discuss clients and that the sushi chef is very rude. Herm**** laughed at me and said no it can’t be.

Herm**** didn’t give a damn on what happened and laughed everything off.

3 couples left that night because they got no service.

My loyalty card weren’t even used even though I gave it to the waiter to use.

It explains why the service and food were not up to standard if you look at management.
