10 Dec 2020, 08:01 John Dory's Ballito Junction... What a awful experience! My family and I went to the John Dory's for their half price sushi and platter for one. On arrival we were greeted politely and seated by the hostess. About 20 minutes later waiting with no waiters around, the shift manager greeted us very friendly took our drink order and left. Once all our drinks were on the table, about 25 minutes later, we met our waitress who were polite and apologetic. We ordered our food. After my fourth drink, I got a little annoyed because we have now waited an hour and a half for our food. I went downstairs to see what was going on because our waitress completely forgot about us. After making a bit of fuss with the sushi chefs why my food was taking so long, they spoke to the waitress in Zulu not even responding to me who asked them directly. I got even more upset and went back up.

Now we got there at 6h15. We got seated. Our drink orders were taken at about 6h35. We got our drinks at about 7h00. Order our food at about 7h02. Got our food at just before 9pm. My chips were cold, fish dry.. urgh! What an awful experience! I will not be going back there ever again!
