John Dory's Gateway

<p>Where do I begin. . . I had the displeasure of dining at John Dory's Gateway after a long slog of shopping and having heard an ad on ECR about their Saturday sushi platter specials. Having heard some distasteful stories about several JD's in the greater Durban area, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I felt like my table was in the Bermuda triangle with it's lack of service. Waitrons seemed to actively avoid looking at us and we were in the middle of the outside area. The side plates that held the ******, wasabi and serviettes was already stained with crusty food. When our food finally arrived after a 50 minute long wait, we were greeted with sub par sushi which left much to be desired in way of flavour. The experience has left scars on both my patience and palette. Will most certainly not be returning there and would only recommend it to those who get to the front of a line and still take 5 minutes to order fast food.</p>
