Almost a two hour wait for sushi

<p>This is a formal complaint related to the waiting time for our food at John Dory's Golden Horse in Pietermaritzburg, last night.</p> <p>We booked a table for 19h00 and place our orders no later than 19h25. The Sushi was only served to us at 20h50. We waited around 1.5 hours for our food.</p> <p>Every other table was served before us. My cousin complained to the manager who just said "OK" and she walked away. Half an hour later, we laid another complaint. After the second complaint, a different manager apologised, gave us a free round of drinks, and the food was there ten minutes later, around 20h50.</p> <p>The free drinks were appreciated, however, the waiting time for the food made us feel as though we were 'invisible' and 'neglected' by the restaurant. That really was not a pleasant experience.</p> <p>I really think that John Dory's Golden Horse needs a better process for getting Sushi orders out on half price Wednesday to avoid such delays in the future as this is not the first time we had to wait a long time for sushi. An apology and free drinks just does not suffice.</p>
