Unbearable Service

I visited John Craig at Vaal Mall in Vanderbijlpark yesterday the 20th of September 2018, the purpose of my visit was to return the pants that I purchased a day before, and also to exchange the T-Shirt.

The exchange of the T-Shirt went very well but the problem started when I needed my pants to be refunded. I was assisted by the lady called Thandi who tried her level best to coerce me into purchasing something else as opposed to being refunded. Thandi eventually told me that they did not have money in the store to refund me and that I should come some other day at the later stage. I told her that I was not prepared to make unnecessary back and forth trips to John Craig. I eventually made a suggestion to her that they should refund the money to my debit card as the purchases were made through a debit card, she was not keen on doing that. After some long struggle, she eventually refunded my money to my debit card.

I have to mention that the experience and needless battling that I suffered with that store is one thing that I will never forget my entire life, Thandi made it a point that my experience with John Craig is characterized by very unpleasant memories. She made sure that I never look forward to returning to the store in the future, in fact she made it a point that I never set my foot in that store. What a pity.
