Client given two different shoe sizes.

My cousin bought a pair of shoes at JOhn CRaig Richards bay for a wedding that he was going to attend. On the day of the wedding, when he was wearing the shoes he could feel that the left shoe was a bit tight . he then took the shoes off and realized that the sized are not the same. The left shoe is a different size then the right.

When he tried to go back to the store JOhn CRaig Richardsbay, they refused to give him the correct size. how can a store do that, he must now wear size 7 and 8?
