Johhnic Design and construction a joke of a business

The owner John McKnight comes across as a genuine guy. Uses a lot of jargon and big words making you think he knows what he is doing. *** were we wrong. R200k later and everything is a mess. The tar driveway is breaking after two weeks, grass is even growing through it. The words the quotes so it sounds like it is a complete job but meantime he leaves things out and then tells you it’s extra. Built is a bar, has no roof, no plaster. A gap where a window should be and no doors, which is now extra and not included. Grossly overcharges like he is a professional in an affluent area. What we paid for and what we got is a joke. I have done some homework and it seems he takes the cost and adds 100%. When you ask him for a breakdown of costs he won’t give it to us. As the customer surely we have a right to know what we have paid for. Have been waiting weeks for him to come repair the tar and player a bar (can’t wait to have a bar without a roof, windows or a door). This man took our money and did very little with it. He warned. Very good at big essays with fancy work, building and construction not so much.
