Housing **** at phiri.

Hi! I am mziwakhe and my parents had a house at 759c eloff street in phiri soweto. My mom passed away in 1992 and my father moved to orange farm to stay there. Then the house at phiri was occupied by 1 of our church member who had 2 kids and no place to stay at that moment. So my parent lenden her a house to stay at till i was old enough to be responsible and take over the house because i was 8 years at a time. I have been making random visits at phiri to check things out. Suddenly when i wanted to sort my paper work out and went to the housing office at phiri i was told that i have been forfeited the house and it was automatically given to the lady which was been put there by my parent. I asked for a paper work and how was the procedure done without any papers because i have all the documents for the house. I was told that there is no need because the house its no longer my parents. I would like to know from the experienced people to tell me if it is possible to forfeit the house just like that
