No response after my car was damaged by a pothole within their region and after sending all the documentation which was required for proof

Both my car tires were damaged by a big pothole which was right in the middle of the road .it was raining so bad the pothole was covered with water which was not visible.I send through all required documentation and images of the place and of my car tires .i was stranded for almost 3 hours stuck on that unsafe road at night because I needed the second wheel to get home.im still awaiting the response from them but I saw the pothole was fixed in a weeks time from my incident. I was not the only one who got hit by the pothole , almost five cars I saw that day .i feel that I need to be reimbursed for that damage caused .
