JRA POTHOLE CLAIM NO:39825

Good day Sir/Madam My name is Sandra Sebothoma. In 2022 i was coming from work in June/July of 2022 at 6pm at Lefhureng driving at Dobson Ville Road. It was raining and misty the weather was bad on that day and it's a busy road. As i was driving i realized that my car was not moving only to find that i heated a pothole. I then called my Husband to come and rescue me.

Days after the incident i took my car to a place where they sell Tyres and do Wheel alignment and balancing in roodeport my car was fixed I then went to JRA depo in Dobson Ville and explained what happened, I was then given Claim forms to fill and to attach all required documents and pictures of where the incident happened. And they confirmed that all documents were received. My claim No:39825. I was pushed from pillar to post as i made follow up in regard to progress of my claim. I spoke to so many people from the Manager of the Dobsonville depo Mr. Ngobeni and also did not get assistance, I the escalated my case to the HOD.who intervened and to get the report.

The case was then referred to their insurance African Dawn Brokers, they rep**** that my claim was declined with reasons that i was Negligent and the pothole does not fall in their due restriction, how does that affect me as a citizen for the claim to be declined with those reasons it does not make sense. Do i have control of the Weather and Potholes in our streets. I was not happy with their Decision..
