AVOID JHB MOVERS

Our Company booked JHB Movers to move our office from Sandton to Rivonia on the 26th of June 2015. They showed up after an hour late. They refused to take the furniture apart on site. So it costed us to get an extra set of hands. They never went and fetched the second load. When they arrived on the new premises, their truck could not get closer to the door than 50 m. The movers REFUSED to unload the truck and went on to explain that they only offload from 40m to the door. I spoke to Madeleine and she said she'll contact me after speaking to the driver. I am still waiting... We all jumped in to move the boxes an extra 10m and only THEN did they carry it. Absolutely shocking! I was walking behind the movers while they were carrying the CEO's Mahogany Desk and the one slipped it out of his hand and it broke into 18 pieces. As I tried to take photos, they quickly picked it up and walked away with it. Phoned Madeleine once again, She'll speak to them. What's the point of the insurance if you don't cover the damages that your team cause? DISGUSTED! Still waiting for you Madeleine
