Joburg Theatre / Unsafe / Untrained Staff and No Airconditioning

<p> </p> <p>We attended the 19.30 performance of Romeo and Juliet and sat in seats N37 and N38 ,</p> <p> </p> <p>After Act one I notified that staff that the theatre was quiet hot inside and if they could kindly turn down the temperature .</p> <p> </p> <p>They did mention to me that they will adjust the temperature , by the end of Act two I noticed most of the patrons had removed their jackets and the people along side me also commented on how hot it was in the theatre .</p> <p> </p> <p>Toward the end of the ballet I began feeling extremely hot and as I left the theatre I passed out at the exit , luckily my friend heard me fall and rushed to my assistance as I hit my head quiet badly on the ground , none of the staff helped nor are they able to handle any emergency they all just stood and looked , eventually he managed to get me some water and when I got outside in fresh air I felt better again. The Emergency exits are also locked so i had to go down the stairs to the main exit outside the cinema .</p> <p> </p> <p> If you could please attend to this and keep the temperature inside a constant so that other patrons also don’t get ill .</p> <p> </p> <p>Once again I urge you to attend to this issue as the safety and comfort of the patrons are important and could have some serious repercussions in the future should staff not have knowledge on emergency protocols .</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
