Johan Steynberg - *********** electrician

We bought a house where Johan Steynberg ***ner of 36Elec) did the COC. Once we moved in we realised that there are quite a few electrical issues. We contacted Johan and after some time he finally agreed to have a look at our concerns....He never showed up to the meeting and also didn't let us know that he wasn't coming. I sent him a message - as he would never answer our calls- and he said he would arrange a new date with my husband. Needless to say this hasn't happened. Doesn't respond to any form of communication.

Johan is ignoring us completely. We have gotten an inspector out to the house that documented all the issues, Johan is aware of this - still no response.

We contacted the board that has indicated that the COC document is in fact invalid.

We will now be going the legal route.

Be very careful when working with Johan!
