Joe Trucks (Movers) Traumatic Service

I used @Joe Trucks for my move on Monday morning 30th January 2024. Everything that could be dented, broken and scratched the did so. My expensive fridge has a mess I’ve dent and it looks like it fell off a truck. My Italian imported thick glass table dropped and broken, bedroom mirror pedestal chipped and cracked. Coricraft couch, dropped broken and missing legs. The list is endless

To my surprise I was told they pick up people off the street to help carry furniture and was flabbergasted when I asked for onion because someone had alcohol breath from possibly the “late” night before.

When I raised my disappointment in the way my furniture was handled, the team lead told me they will see what insurance can do, but I must try send my stuff to someone who does repairs. No. 1 they damaged my furniture why should I be the one doing repairs? Secondly I lost my job I can’t afford to repair or do any new purchases. 3 my furniture is very expensive and most things will not be available cause the stores closed during Covid!

This whole ordeal is like a horror dream, since I decided to complain the team leader / supervisor has subsequently sent me WhatsApp to delete my reviews or I will see who laughs last. Which is clearly a threat and will not take it lightly.
