Review for Jodes Motor Title: Sold Me an Accidental Vehicle Without Disclosure and Ignoring All Communication I purchased a vehicle from Jodes Motor, and shortly after the sale I discovered several serious issues that were never disclosed to me. The vehicle is accidental and has been resprayed, which the dealership failed to mention verbally or in writing at the time of purchase. Within a short period after buying the vehicle, I had to pay for multiple repairs, including a radiator replacement (R4,800 + R3,700 labour), major service (R2,895), glow plugs (R315 each × 4 with R2,100 labour), and new front discs and brake pads (approximately R4,000–R5,000). These expenses occurred immediately after purchase, which shows the vehicle was not in the condition represented. I contacted the dealership and sent formal communication to resolve this matter, but they have ignored all attempts to engage. This is unacceptable for any dealership operating under the Consumer Protection Act. I am now proceeding with complaints through MIOSA and the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud and will continue with legal steps if necessary. I would caution other consumers to be extremely careful when dealing with this dealership.
