Joburg MMC member must deliver or leave

This complaint is directly directed at Mr Michael Sun (Environment and Infrastructure Services) MMC.

Please stop looking for political brownie points and do your job that you were elected for.

Under your watch I have had the following experiences.

RECYCLING The wife and I daily sort our trash into recycle bins. Plastic Glass Paper Tins Month end we need to empty the bins. My local Pik It Up depot is Allen's Nek What a shambles. On entering you get mobbed by scores of guys wanting to help for a fee. none are Pik It Up staff. Its a bun fight, no security just chaos. Then there are no bins for recycling. No bins for Glass Plastic Tins Paper

No bins for recycled electronic goods

Nothing

A few years back I cringed when this self opinionated MMC member was on radio talking about a new initiative (pilot Project) to issue colored recycle bags to households and fine those that did not cycle.

Pardon the pun but its seems its fitting that Mr. Sun is in charge of Pik It Up because he talks *******. Please provide recycling bins Mr. MMC

PIK IT UP BIN Despite the Jhb website saying that a wheelie bin has a 5 year life I have never had a new bin in the last 20 years despite logging calls calling for a replacement (mine is cracked) Again this is MR. MMC Suns patch. Based on him been in charge I wonder why I thought someone would heed my request and provide a new bin.

MR. MMC please do your job or move over for someone more capable than yourself.
