Jo-Hadri Fontini is the biggest **** and *****! Be careful and do not do any business with him.

The owner of this business (which apparently doesn't do business under this name anymore) is the biggest **** and ***** that I have ever encountered. We had alternator problems with our Jeep Grand Cherokee at the end of November 2018 and in the whole of South Africa no alternator could be found at any Jeep dealership - there was a shipment on its way but will only arrive in SA late December, then had to go through customs, etc etc. Mr Jo-Hadri Fontini ***ner of said business) has been referred to us by another person as he apparently has worked for Chrysler Jeep previously and had contacts there. We contacted him and he was very willing to help - very nice friendly guy! He "imported" an alternator straight from the United States and we paid the R16,450.00 for the alternator plus the courier costs to him - too happy that he could help because our vehicle couldn't move - it was dead. We got the vehicle back two weeks later (middle December) and HE said he will send the faulty alternator to Jeep to be tested etc etc etc. and that we should probably get a refund from Chrysler Jeep as this specific model Jeep had a recall in the US due to this faulty alternator (but that was not the case in South Africa, they did not do the recall - we did enquire about this at the Jeep dealerships). Since January he told us he is still waiting for the results from tests on the faulty alternator. Then he again said he got the results back and there was an amount payable to us, made appointment after appointment with us to give us the details, just to cancel it at the last minute due to one or other crisis - the stories he gave was just unbelievable! It carried on and on and on, then about 3 months ago he made an appointment again, just to tell as again that he is in the process of moving his house and business to Kampersrus (close to Hoedspruit) and that he is very busy. We then gave up - realizing for sure that he is a patholigical ****. BUT - then our car gave the same problem 4 days ago - it just died because the alternator was faulty (the new one which he has put in less than a year ago and which was according to his invoice still under guarantee - 2 years guarantee on parts!) I contacted him on Monday and told him the alternator is faulty, he said he will see us on Tuesday as he was very busy on Monday. On Tuesday morning he said he is in bed with flu! I then requested the old alternator (one he took out in December) and then he just went silent and did not answer messages after that. In the meantime we had someone else looking at the car, he took the NEW alternator (one Jo-Hadri Fontini ordered from the US and had couriered to SA) out and was told it is an old reconditioned alternator which are being sold for R1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred rand) - and we have only paid Jo-Hadri Fontini R16,450.00 (Sixteen Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Rands) plus courier cost for an OLD part!!!! If you therefore ever see the name of this guy - be aware, he will rip you off!
