Jns Auto - Zambezi Drive Pretoria

To Whom It May Concern.

I would like to utter my disappointment on the service, to be specific “silent treatment” I have been receiving from JNS Auto Sales Pretoria where I bought my BWM 320i Coupe e92 (2011) 3 months ago.

To this day the car has been giving me problems where either it’s a malfunctioning or it is completely stand still. When I call the Dealership where I bought the car “JNS Auto Sales” either their brush the situation off by promising to see what they can do, or the give me R300 to take a taxi. This does not fix the problem at hand. The car broke down two weeks ago in Vereeniging almost 150kms from home, It was towed to a dealership where it supposedly got fixed for a whopping R19 000 +/- for an Aircon compressor problem. I had to take out R10 000 on top of the warranty already covering R8500. I was not told that the car had this problem I would have budgeted for this, 3 MONTHS!!!! Already such happens, in a 7 year vehicle agreement. I am certainly ****ed about this as I am a first time car owner and I cannot be facing such debt for fixing a car which was supposed to be in good condition.

Yesterday 17/07/2017, the car could not start because the starter motor failed. No one at JNS Auto was able to assist or even request I return the car for them to figure out the issue. I was assisted by SAWarranties, a warranty holder for the vehicle, again the dealership was not involved they simply brush me off and send me to SAWarranties. I did not buy a car from SAWarranties I bought it from them. They are simply mistreating me as their customer and their main focus was the sale of the vehicle not ensuring that I am satisfied with the overall condition of the car.

Please assist because I cannot continue being brushed off because I am paying installment and insurance on the vehicle that is 90% of the time it is at the repairing dealer. Currently the car is with Car Service city, honeydew and it is awaiting repairs and authorization from SAWarranties. I want to take back the car or trade it in for another model in a “Better Condition”

I am also taking these guys to the ombudsman as I am very frustrated. This was not the service I expected for my first purchase. It has dire financial implications and I am not ready to fall into unnecessary debt. I had calculated my expenses properly including the car and the insurance and any maintenance required.
