Worst Building / Renovator Contractor

<p>In Mid 2014 we decided to build a garage. Joey Rhagabar was the main contractor who clearly didnt know how to build. During the building process walls had to be knocked down because it was skew. The foundation was built onto on the paving bricks. The wall adjacent to my neighbour was not correct and we had to ask him many a time to fix it. There was about a 10cm gap between the garage door and the wall which he said "i will make a plan". He used wood and ceiling board to close the gap. We had endless problems with the garage door and had to phone him time and time again to come and fix it. Firstly they didnt install it correctly, secondly they had to reset it over and over again over the weeks. We also had many issues with the light fittings in the garage. The fuse kept blowing and at one time he had to replace the light and this was in the first month or two!!!</p> <p>The gutter of the house was fused or built into the wall of the garage, which means that when it rains it stays wet all the time. During a rainny season i contacted him ...once again ...many a time because the roof started leaking...he assured me he would come and he didnt. </p> <p>I called him and said to him that if he is not prepared to come i will report him to the Building counsel in which he rep**** "Go ahead". I did contact the NHBRC and unfortunately i could not report it due to there requirements. </p> <p>Based on this and all the other issues experinced i have it in black and white that i have guarantee of my foundation and building of 5 years, roof 5 years. </p> <p>The question i have is what happened to the guarantee?</p> <p>I eventually gave up because how many sms's, and phone calls did i have to make before he came out?</p> <p>He never did. Its been just about 2 years later and my garage constantly leaks during the rains, so much so that i had to make holes in my ceiling board to let the water out. </p> <p>The outside wall has watermarks, the internal "Gutter down pipe" wall is constantly damp.</p> <p>We removed the ceiling boards because it started to rot and only to find that the workmanship was appalling. </p> <p>From the zinc roof being misaligned, to huge gap between the gutter and the zinc. This is where the water in the gutter overflows into the roof, adding that the gutter is flat and not even at a slight angel to let the water run out. There is too much to mention but i definately have photos to prove his cheap and ****py work.</p> <p>Oh! and the "I will make a plan" for the gap that he incorrectly created because he doesnt know how to build.....has gotten wet with the water running down from the walls and it is falling apart.</p> <p>I paid the full amount as agreed, however Joey and company didnt fulfill there guarantee.</p> <p>JNCR Projects - Joey, not professional, does not keep to promises, cheap and lousy workmanship, never takes ownership for his mistakes !!!!!</p> <p>DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!</p> <p> </p>
