Admission with co payment for my mum was requested. Medical aide mentioned NO co payment was needed as the stay for more days. Mum discharged on 5August 22 to date the co payment is used as RANDOM money towards the med aide for non payment for a pain managment PCA..whilst in their, jmh,care the iv infiltrated and was re sited only to have the PCA discarded .in total volume because NO patient orientation nor education given. Now I would like to know if ransom money is asked for healthcare needs and will the hospitals soon implement so called hijackings of patients if their case managers fail to obtain proper motivation from the doctors . Case managers see doctors more often than us patients.
