Jiangling Motors South Africa don't Pay
I owned a brand new Landwind SUV sold by Jiangling Motors (the JMC) head office dealers in Ruimsig. I contacted them to trade it in (1 1/2 month old vehicle valued at R248 000) they offered me R190 000 as a trade in. The day before I took the car in to them James Chen dropped the offer to R179 000 saying the Manager had quoted wrong. Then when I took the car into them and they agreed it was immaculate etc they said I would be paid straight away. 5 DAYS LATER and still no money!!!! Stories from rep to Manager/Owner to Accounts from wrong papers (which was then no right) to the phone not being answered to everyone always out of the office. I question the financial ability of this company to operate.

I couldn't believe that I see a complaint from you on Hello Peter.com as the last time we spoke you collected the number plates from me for the JMC Landwind 5 which you won at our promotion that we had at the Cradle Stone Mall. I believe that you have decided in the interim that you would want to sell the vehicle to purchase a light commercial vehicle which would be more suitable for your type of business. I have confirmed that the payment for your vehicle has been requested and that payment would be made by the end of business today. Please keep in mind that we received your vehicle only on Friday . There is a possibility the the funds could only reflect a day or two later if it is not the same Financial Institution. We will forward the confirmation of payment as soon as it is done. Please be assured that Jiangling Motor Corporation(Pty) Ltd is a huge Enterprise and payment procedures needs to be followed before any payments can be released.
