JM Toners outdated goods

I purchased, online, an HP 901 colour cartridge from JM Toners. It was delivered promptly. It seems to be a genuine HP cartridge. However, it seemed to have been manufactured in 2017 and does nor work. I think it has dried out. No one should buy anything from JM Toners!
