Taking deposit, no delivery

I contacted Jaco van Tonder about building and paving. He quoted me and I paid a huge deposit for a gate, paving to be done, 2 roofs to be constructed. He fitted the gate halfway and took off with rest of my money! He refuses to come and finish the job or pay back the difference for work not done. It seems like this is his MO. He gets your deposit and takes off leaving you ******!
