First option on car and then he sells car

We were interested in buying a car from abovementioned garage. Asked salesman to get us relevant papers. After 2 weeks of excuses he told us he can not get hold of certan person to get papers. Asked him for first option on the car and he agreed. He said he would get pspers first thing in the new year. On 31 December we drove past garage and saw relevant car was gone. Contacted Henlo and he told me it all happened very quickly on 30 December and he sold the car. Asked him what happened to our first option without response. Now I wonder how he managed to get papers for this buyer but were not able to optain them for us. Goes to show that a secondhand car salesmans word means nothing.
