Wait a week for running water - For Geyser problems

Record shows that they last did work on Geyser In 2014, But somehow feels like last year ....this same company JJ Lourens Plumbing (must be who the insurance uses to complete the work) took over a week to sort out our Geyser. The roof leaked, called for fix, next day someone came around to confirm that geyser should be replaced, next day they came to replace, but instead advised that the geyser did not need to be replaced and left . Repeat this same thing again another time another person coming and leaving advising it should be replaced and again another time advising it shouldn't - how hard is it to determine via your job whether it should or should not be replaced and complete the neccessary work ,why each time a day delay because a separate person needs to complete the second part of the job required, enter 2nd week , stressed that we had no running water for over a week , they finally show up and say pipes (that had been working over 30 years needed to be moved , moved it , then say same piping must now be replaced at additiobal costs. After advising not to replace pipes at additional costs that we can't afford , they did whatever work around and left. We then dicovered that water was still not running at the back of the house. They returned one last time to sort that out also. (Over a week)

Yesterday 04/01/2017 morning we woke up to find the roof leaking once again under the Geyser . Got the claim number for insurance , arranged for it to be sorted, same company again JJ Lourens Plumbing i believe, Plumber shows up within the course of yesterday to confirm geyer burst and that it should be replaced and turned off water supply to geyer that is burst i believe. Confirm fitment of new geyser today and 9am 05/01/2017. They show up 9am fit the geyer and leave. Low and behold , no running water from the hot water taps.

Now going on 3pm, and we are waiting for confirmation on when they will be able to sort the situation of a non-functioning geyser and its supplying no hot water to the hot water taps. Today is running out of time.... quickly.

Can't imagine how long this might take to fix and am very frustrated at this level of service, Why don't you check that the work being completed is done correctly and fully prior to leaving the job delaying all things by another day and another day. Everyone needs to work to get paid and make an income, how many days should we sit around waiting for this work to be completed and not get paid ourselves. Besides the inconvenience of not being able to clean/sanitise properly with out this being fixed. Can't afford to wait for weeks for you to complete a job , that i have seen done in one day successfully with no hitches. How can you think the work is completed and want to get paid when before you came there was running hot water and after you completed your work , there was no running hot water. You might just as well have thrown the geyser in the roof and left, saying you're done.

Please how long will this take to fix? Wish everyone could know to find out from insurance company's if there is any other reliable company to do this type of work quickly and successfully instead of this company , but i am sure anyone reading this is just persons who already know and have experienced this problem, my regret that we had to experience this twice already.

Like to advise they came back on the second day and after some pipe clanging noses fixed the problem and we had hot running water from all hot taps in the house , so two days to complete the required job successfull here is not too bad so changing to 3 stars from the 1 star originally given.
