Jimmy's Prawn Canal Walk

I went to Jimmy's ****er Prawn in Canal walk on our Anniversary on the 31st October 2017. The experience was not something that I would brag about. The worst thing that did happen was that since we did not eat beef, we requested Lamb ribs and they accommodated us.

When it was time for us to leave, since the lamb ribs were made for us. I asked the manager on duty if we could take it away. His response was that we cannot give them to you because we wash them and reuse them for other customers.

I when to the Jimmy's ****er Prawns restaurant in Canal Walk and ordered the buffet meal for 4 people. I spent approximately R600.00 but I was disgusted with the food.

1. We do not eat beef so we order Lamb ribs and the ribs were not prepared well. When we asked to takeaway the Ribs at the end of the meal, i was told that these ribs were wash and re-service to other customers. This disgusted me. 2. The Prawns we order were undone and we had to ask them to take it back to redo. 3. The trifle was not fresh and we told this to the manager who took it out of the buffet.

I did communicate with the owner but the only thing he said was that he was sorry and would action the matter. No communication was made to me after that. This incident took place on the 31st October 2017. To date I have communicated with the owner and the Jimmy's Head Office. To date I have had no resolution to the issue. I am very disappointed with the service and was sick after I eat the meal.
