Wrong billing and bad service
I received my rental statement on the 26th of Jan from Jika properties via email as usual. I got a shock when I read the water bill. It had escalated from R69 to R501.00 which is ridiculous for 3 employed tenants sharing a two bedroom flat. I then called Jika properties and spoke to Justin who promised to forward the query to the water billing department and get back to me. A week after I called again and spoke to Dineo , she told me the meter was read for a longer period till the 14th of Jan instead of the 2nd that's why I was overcharged. Well, I told her that was not my problem as it was a mistake form their side, they needed to amend my statement. I was told that it will take time to get the query resolved so I must just pay the full rent and to avoid my access (finger print) to the flat being deleted. They promised to call me back with feedback which they never did, am always the one following up and told the same story that I'm still on he query list. I have gone out of my budget and paid the full rent with the billing error but no one has made contact with me. I'm so disgusted with the bad service from Jika . All they know is to collect money from tenants and offer no servi
