Unelievably bad service

I used to be a resident at Ashanti, Unit 206 in Marshalltown Johannesburg.

From day 1 during the lease application process I had major troubles with JHI.

During my stay at the premises I was never able to get ahold of the agent from JHI Navi Kathrada. Whether to repair things or otherwise. She never answered her phone and she never responded to emails. Upon moving in (there was no inspection done) I made a list of all defects in the place and sent it to her. She never responded. A few months later a repair man came to repair the stove and replace the disgusting carpets (this they only did in one room, and not the other).

Anyway long story short, my lease ended in November 2016. It is now February. I still haven't recieved my deposit. After numerous attempts to contact Navi (emails and calls), I finally gegt ahold of get today. She tells me that th building has been handed over to New management and all deposit payments must be done through them. Just like that. No letters, no warnings. Nothing. To top it off the number she gave me for the new management doesn't work, and she (as usual) is not answering her phone again..

This has been a remarkably frustrating process with JHI and particularly Navi Kathrada whom I suspect doesn't really do her job. So I'm stuck now, can't get my money back and nobody actually cares.

This is unfortunate because as young professional working for a reputable company I am trained to always help him client and provide solutions. I guess the same doesn't apply with JHI and their staff.
